I don’t know about your household, but it’s the first Monday of Christmas vacation and my kids are already bickering. Today’s argument was about XBox time and what games they should play, who knows what tomorrow’s disagreement will be.
I know I’m in for the long haul – two full weeks of three kids at home and only one scheduled day camp on my calendar to help. I need resources, people!
Thankfully, I have Redbox right outside my grocery store so when I stop in for milk this week I can also pick up some new releases ($1.50/DVD, $2.00/Blu-ray!) I’ll pick up a few for the kids and a few for my husband and I to watch in the evenings.
One movie that I’ve been wanting to see is When The Game Stands Tall, and I think this is one my ten-year-old football player will appreciate as well.
If you’re looking for a good movie for older kids (8+ I’d say), Earth To Echo is really cute. Mr. Peabody & Sherman was also a fun movie for the whole family.
We’ve also seen Into The Storm, and while there are some scary scenes for younger kids, my ten-year-old science nut loved it as much as I did!
What about you? Do you have any must see movies this holiday season?
