An ookpix Acrylic!

While I absolutely love family photography, and have nothing but respect for the pro’s behind the lens – its expensive. I also don’t trust my 1 year old to behave through a four hundred dollar sitting. Lol!

This year I decided to try something new for our annual family photo. I uploaded my favourite Instagram shot to ookpix.com and had it done up on acrylic. It took a matter of minutes, and I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. But it is simple and affordable, so why not?

Within days a package was on my doorstep, and when I opened it up, I actually GASPED! It is beautiful! This is the shot of my little family on a ferry to Victoria this past May. The best part; it was taken by a complete stranger!
