Nerf – N-Strike Elite Nerf Cam ECS-12 Blaster

Gifts for boys can sometimes be tricky. While there’s many hot go-to brands for girls, sometimes for boys it’s tough to find interesting toys beyond a screen. This is a gift I’ve already recommended to more than one friend with older boys (and rebel girls!) Nerf – N-Strike Elite Nerf Cam ECS-12 Blaster actually does involve a screen too, but in a super-cool way that involves your kids in an activity.

The built-in camera lets you record and share the action with others! The 4-GB SD card stores up to 2,000 photos or 100 minutes of video – and I can’t wait to see what my 10 year old comes up with on his!  The possibilities are endless really – a battle with a friend, target practice, or just wandering around the house stalking prey.

The Nerf Cam ECS-12 gives you rapid-strike firepower with the Slam Fire handle. When you slide it repeatedly and hold down the trigger, the blaster fires a steady stream of darts. The blaster holds 12 Elite Darts in its Quick Reload clip, and you can carry extra darts and clips (sold separately) so you can quickly switch out an empty clip for a full one. It fires the Elite Darts up to 85 feet, so you’ve got both long-range striking power and total control over your rate of fire.
