If you could jump into the future and see what your life would be like in 5 or 10 years, would you? Do you think you would make different choices now, having the ability to look ahead and see where those choices take you?
IKEA’s latest time travel video with renowned hypnotist Justin Trans continues this fun campaign bringing us the story of Jeff & Beth as Justin brings the couple through life changing events. He hypnotizes the couple as they time travel 4 years into the future, and gets Jeff to ask Beth to marry him!
Later, we see the couple with a little boy and the parents have to deal with the fun of endless questions and – of course – the birds and the bees! So cute to watch them navigate life as parents while hypnotized!

I like this! Very good video and campaign! 🙂
messed up.. don’t like it.. and it has nothing to do with shopping for a new bedroom
Agree, not sure what it has to do with shopping for bedroom’s either really don’t like it
I only have one word for this… Interesting
I love Ikea!
I do not think the video is getting the message across !
hmmmm… definitely different lol
I like Ikea but I don’t think this video gets the message across.
It’s funny but yeah I have to agree that the message is not getting through…
not my style of commercial…it’s fun sure though I don’t necessarily agree with hypnotism and plus I don’t really see how it connects to buying furniture.
sounds cool. I dont see the video link though
This was a very fun video to watch but not too sure it encourages me at all to shop at Ikea.
intersting..great if u are promoting a hypnotist but useless for ikea
strange video
interesting commercial. doesn’t make me want to shop at ikea (but i already do like shopping there!)
Well that was just different and interesting
This was definitely different and somewhat interesting but I don’t see the connection between it and buying furniture.
Very interesting! I love everything about Ikea!
Super cute 🙂
Bit of an odd video…
Yes, very odd. Especially for Ikea….
I’m not getting it
I’ve seen this around, definitely an interesting campaign. A fun perspective.
It’s a different type of campaign
Aw this is really cute!
Oh how cute I have never seen this before. I have never been to Ikea but always plan to.
I’ve seen this before, but can’t quite comprehend how this is marketing for them? lol Maybe it’s because while watching the video you are too focused on the hypnotized people, that you don’t really pay attention to the furniture and accessories in the background.
cute but strange
Love Ikea, but hate the video, seen it before
These are so funny very different
Interesting video, not seeing the connection to furniture buying tho…
That’s hilarious! Ikea has quite the marketing team.
