TD thanks customers in a very surprising way – with an Automated Thanking MachineTM and a few life changing moments.
Card in, cash out— for many it’s business as usual at the traditional ATM, but, recently, for some TD customers it was anything but.
Looking for a unique way to express its gratitude to customers, TD decided to turn to local TD branch employees for ideas. Local employees tend to know their customers pretty well, including their aspirations and dreams over the years. With the help of these employees — and an Automated Thanking Machine — some customers received a very special and meaningful thank you.
A just released video, entitled #TDThanksYou, captures the unexpected and very personal way TD thanked its customers. Watch as TD takes an Automated Thanking Machine, some excited employees and unsuspecting customers, a handful of beloved celebrities, really special gifts and the element of surprise to create an experience customers and employees will never forget.
OMG that is the COOLEST thing EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As if this actually happened to some really deserving people. Totally just teared up while watching this. At the same time, I have to make more of an effort to get my butt to the ATM’s LOL
Awesome! Thanks for sharing 🙂
oh man that was so nice. tears especially for the mom going to Trinidad
wow great idea
What fun surprises! So nice of TD!
I have a friend that works there – such a neat thing they did!
That is soooo cool. I’m a TD customer lol. I should start using the machines more.
Ohhh that is so nice! I bawled like a baby over Dorothy getting to visit her daughter in Trinidad. Wow!
While it’s all nice and weepy, TD customers are paying for it. Their fees for everything turned me off of them years ago, they may have changed but lost me as a customer forever
Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
What a great idea.
