Yes, I am a beauty product junkie. That being said, not every beauty product on shelves is worth the purchase and more than once I’ve been duped by pretty packaging and low quality products inside. Still, when I can find a combination of gorgeous packaging and a kick-butt product, that is beauty product nirvana.
Barefoot Venus is that nirvana! Beautiful packaging (the 1950’s pin-up model branding is gorgeous) and amazing quality products inside are what awaits when you try these products. I’d never even heard of these beauties before, and now they will be proudly displayed on my bathroom counter in our new house next month. I may even have to sneakily refill them with something else in-between my orders because the bottles are that pretty for displaying!
I tried a selection of Barefoot Venus products and loved every single one of them! I realize that doesn’t give you a lot of direction when trying to figure out what to purchase in store or order online yourself, so I’ll share my favorites! Vanilla Shake anything is amazing, if you love creamy vanilla scents. You can search the website by collection and find everything available in your favorite scent!
Bath Soak with Cocoa Butter is a luxurious product; it’s silky smooth and the perfect way to cap off a night in a silky bath. It’s available in a variety of scents, and the container itself is gorgeous – I want every single one for displaying on the side of my tub!
And finally, I need to tell you about Barefoot Venus Mustard Bath. The packaging seen above is a mini size for one use (or you can be frugal like me and split it!) though the full size container is again, beautiful, and worthy of display so you may want to skip the mini size and get the tin. Back to the mustard! I wouldn’t have picked this on my own because, well, mustard. However, I was encouraged to by my friends at Barefoot Venus and I’m *so* glad I did! I love it! The scent is not what you’d expect, it’s a mixture of wintergreen, eucalyptus and rosemary that really is the perfect blend. It’s not just a pretty package, however. This product boasts anti-inflammatory properties and helps naturally draw impurities from your skin. I love how amazing it feels (take a deep breath while having a hot soak!) and also how it makes my entire bathroom and bedroom smell afterwards. I’ll definitely be buying more of this each visit.
