If you’ve been perusing the cleaning aisle at your favorite store this spring, you may have discovered something new from Tide! Tide is sharing the plusabilities with Canadians, giving you everything you need to switch gears from winter survival to summer fun. Need some inspiration on ways to use the Tide plusabilities in your household? Check this out:
In our household, the Tide Plusabilities are endless because we’re moving this summer! In my purging and packing process I’m finding lots plusabilities! Many items that are being packed away now won’t be seen again until next fall, or longer depending on if and when I find the box! We’re going to have lots of extra room in our garage and basement so I plan on keeping a lot of totes there. So, I’m making sure all my packed away winter gear and blankets are washed with Tide Plus Febreeze Freshness to help them smell great!
I’m definitely doing a lot of purging too! There are so any great charities and organizations that will take your used household goods and it feels great knowing that I’m not only keeping them out of the landfill but I’m helping others too!
The new Tide Plus collection brings you more of what you love, giving you the amazing clean of Tide with added benefits, like Febreze scent and Downy softness. To commemorate the launch of this new collection, Tide is taking Plusabilities to the next level, encouraging Canadians to fling out the old and bring in the new!
A Tide truck will be visiting prominent family attractions in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal picking up gently used clothing donations to celebrate new beginnings with its not for profit partner, Goodwill.
By donating gently used clothing to Goodwill during Tide Clothing Donation Day events, you’re not only de-cluttering your home, you’re also teaching your kids the value of giving back and the ripple effect, or Plusabilities behind a simple good deed. Giving your threads a second life can:
· Give someone confidence going to a job interview
· Make a kid smile going to class with a cool pair of kicks
· Enable skills development and employment and work experience for those who face employment barriers
· Support community-based programs through the funds raised as Goodwill donates 82 per cent of its revenue back
To thank Canadians for their support, upon dropping off a donation they’ll receive a Tide Plus coupon booklet so they can experience more of what they love at home.

Too bad I won’t be able to visit the Tide truck in BC but will definitely be donating a bunch of gently used clothing etc. I already have a few bags on the go.
Thanks for the heads up! I wish I was around this weekend!
They always skip over Saskatchewan..
Good for Tide because they are helping communities. That’s awesome!
I guess I miss out. Toronto gets everything.
Tide is one company/brand that works for the better although they won’t be in my city.
I liked your Discover the Plusabilities With Tide post.
I always buy tide.
It’s too bad they are not doing this in every province.
Would love to see this in Manitoba too!
Very interesting,thanks
I wish they were in my area.
What a fantastic event they are having, I wish it was coming to my area
sounds great unfortunately none will be near me :”(
I hope this gets expanded to other locations!
I’ve been doing a lot of purging around my home too, and luckily for me there is a Goodwill store about a five minute drive away.
Love your article! I love the scent with Febreze!!
I am so excited, I just caught this ontime for the Toronto Zoo date!!
I love this program! Lucky for us a friend is heading to Toronto for a week this week, he’s going to drop for us & himself yay!
Great Brands doing good in the communities! Wish more stops, like maybe in Alberta next time
This is a very interesting sounding program – I wish they expanded their stops across the prairies!
Too bad they do not come to the smaller northern communities.
Awesome program! Hopefully it will expand…
No better way to purge than prepping for a move. There also seems to be no worse feeling than opening a box and wondering why the hell you packed and brought it – what a waste of space! I love what Tide is doing and it is too bad they can’t set up more stops along the way.
What a great program!!
We moved in May and purging is the only way to go. I do like your idea of washing everything with the Tide first so its super fresh when you open up the tub!
