For 5 years now the Cloud b ‘Twilight Turtle’ has been a part of my son Jesse’s bedtime. I got the Twilight Turtle at my baby shower, and it has proved to be so valuable! Every night Jesse holds him close, and gazes up at the stars it projects onto his roof. Every night he drifts off to sleep comforted, with a familiar friend.
Now my new baby boy has a Cloud b buddy of his own. Tranquil Starfish projects an underwater light effect that I can best describe as ‘hypnotizing’.
It also plays calming ocean waves, or a sweet melody to sooth. The shell of the Tranquil Starfish glows a relaxing aquamarine blue, and you can adjust the brightness using a slide control. Unlike the Twilight Turtle, there is no ‘plush’ aspect to the exterior of the Tranquil Starfish. I like it because it can be wiped clean of sticky fingers or any other baby grime. It is a nice size, and easy to pack for an overnight stay. Tranquil Starfish takes 3AA batteries, and you can trust they will last awhile, as an ‘auto shut-off’ kicks in after 23 minutes.
The Cloud bTranquil Starfish costs $39.95, a fair price for a truly multi-sensory experience. Considering we have got over 5 years out of Jesse’s Cloud b companion… that’s a great deal! Cloud b says the Tranquil Starfish ‘ollows in the footsteps of their famous Twilight Turtle… I agree. My baby boy is sure following in the footsteps of his older brother – sleeping soundly.

This would be great for my 5 year old actually. He has special needs, and bed time is hard for him, so sensory items, things with music or sounds or lights etc are really helpful and calming for him.

Looks like the perfect baby shower or young child gift that will be used for years. My grandson who is 2 and nephew’s son who is 10 months are very active children who could use the Tranquil Starfish to calm down.
