It’s true, there are ways to make family travel less stressful and much easier to manage so any time I find a business or strategy to accomplish this, I’m all over it!
Recently, TripCentral.ca added a new feature when booking vacations online – now you can specify the number of children you’re traveling with so that your results are filtered only showing you vacation packages that are actually applicable to your family! I love this. As a family of 5 I am really frustrated by vacation packages that are all wrapped up in a pretty bow for families of 4. Why? Canadian families come in different sizes, and our vacation packages should too!
The site is really easy to use, with a step by step selection process and information along the way giving you the ability to compare destinations and when the best month is to travel (according to your bank account, anyway!)
TripCentral.ca has also just conducted a family vacation survey in partnership with Ipsos Reid and are sharing the results on their site including more information like the details above. I have to agree – sunny destinations are at the top of my list in this cold Canadian winter!

Yay! Great timing on this post! Earlier today I was getting all excited about a travel package I had found only to see it was for families of 4. We’re a family of 5 too. I did briefly wonder how much my youngest would enjoy it anyway…but then I thought she might hold being left behind against me forever so…
I like that they also find hotels that the whole family can share one room!

very helpful for larger families
We don’t do any travelling due to hubby and his illness right now but if we do in the future this will be great to know. I like that it picks hotels for you that includes the whole family. A great way to book a vacation.

I just took a trip with TripCentral.ca, to Mayan Riviera in Mexico, and they were fabulous! They answered all our questions, and were extremely helpful when in Mexico as regards to planning trips and all!

Had no idea that trips were for specific numbers of family members, have never taken one, but good to know in case we ever do
love this idea. we are a family of 4 so I guess we would be able to find vacation packages almost anywhere. but I have friends with 4 kids , ill have to tell her about this so they can consider this if they ever want to take a family vacation for all 6 of them.

I totally agree with you that vacation packages should come with options! We are a family of 5 and the idea of paying a premium for a family suite is overwhelming.

We never had the problem because we are a family of 4 but our friends were a family of 6 and it was always a real pain for them when they would purchase vacation packages. This is a great option for people out there with larger families.

I love that they are bing so helpful now with bigger families.Their offers in their package deals make it so awesome and easier to choose.I like that they have rooms where a large family can stay together in.

I really haven’t heard about Hotel finder until now, and maybe the odd advertisement. Maybe it’s time to check them out because I am not overly impressed with some of the other competitors.
