In the fall, I participated in a campaign for the new Canon Rebel SL1 and became a Canon user for the first time! When I received my new camera I excitedly pulled it out, popped the Canon camera strap on, and away I went! It’s not the prettiest camera strap, like ones I’ve had in the past, but hey it says Canon on it which is kind of awesome in itself.

Despite it looking awesome around my neck, when I took a photography course a few years ago, I learned that you’re actually supposed to wrap the strap around your wrist and not hang your camera from your neck – so now I not only look fashionable but professional and like I know what I’m doing when using this strap (I sometimes do wear my camera it around my neck though!)
