Winter is a trying time. It’s also a drying time. My hands, hair, face, lips are all suffering. Even my 5 year olds normally dewy skin is chapped. The past couple weeks I have been soothing my families hide with products from Live Clean.
First and foremost what sets Live Clean apart is its eco-friendly production. Their goal is to produce high performing beauty products that contribute to a greener planet. I must say Live Cleans natural, plant based ingredients pack a powerful punch.
Some of my favourites are the Live Clean Professional Damage Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner. It’s different from other shampoos I have tried… likely because it is sulfate and paraben free. It didn’t lather up as nice as some of my other shampoos, but it still left my hair feeling very clean and silky. I also think the conditioner helps with static! My hair is far less flyaway these days.
I have been slathering on Live Clean Exotic Nectar Body Lotion after my shower, it provides a lot of moisture but you can still dress after. It’s not too greasy or heavy. I have also been keeping a bottle of Exotic Nectar Hand Cream on my night stand, along with one of the Live Clean USDA Organic Lip Balms. The last thing I do before bed is apply these winter-rescues. The Exotic Nectar scent is sweet and fresh, and I love the fact that Live Clean Lip Balms are certified organic. It is nice knowing something going on your lips is pure and safe. I gave one of my tubes to my 5 year old (his little lips were literally cracking and bleeding). A couple days of applying his lip balm and they are back to normal!
Live Clean provides reputable products at a great price. I feel I am using things very comparable to products you would find in a health food store, for a quarter of the price.

No, I haven’t tried them yet – but I would LOVE to! My hands get dry / scaly patches on them during winter, and they just don’t seem to go away no matter how much cream I use! 🙁
