The Backyardigans: Sea Deep In Adventure LIVE!

Who explores a coral reef, discovers a seaweed farm, and joins the jellyfish ballet – all before snack time? The Backyardigans! Pablo, Tyrone, Tasha, Uniqua and Austin are back on stage, singing and dancing and ready to plunge sea deep into adventure.

Dive into the action as these five friends explore clues, discover underwater magic, and match wits with an egocentric, seaweed farming octopus and a pair of playful dolphins. With a splashy range of song-and dance styles to wade along to – including psychedelic soul, Bollywood, bossa nova, and more – our heroes save the day.

With non-stop excitement and surprises, this watery tale will mesmerize, entertain and delight audiences of all ages!

The theatrical production is based on the top-rated preschool television program The Backyardigans, airing on Treehouse TV in Canada and Nick Jr. in the US.

Locally, look for The Backyardigans in Regina, SK February 4th and Saskatoon, SK February 5th! Koba Entertainment has generously shared tickets for both my family and blogger Lisa Dutton’s family to attend the February 5th performance in Saskatoon and let me tell you – we can’t wait! Lisa Dutton’s little guy Jesse is looking forward to the show. He says he can’t wait to see the Backyardigans in “real life”! And just a heads up… if you are sitting near Jesse… he plans to dance. Both my girls (6 and almost 3) are excited to sing along with the Backyardigans and – I admit – I don’t mind their songs either! They’re catchy, silly, and even keep adults smiling. We’ve had Backyardigans in our household since my oldest (9) was a little guy, and even have a Mountie Tyrone from the Snowball Duty episode (bonus points if you’re singing the Snowball Duty song in your head right now!)
