There’s lots of fun happening at Disney Junior in June! Here’s a run-down of everything going on. Set your PVR’s and pay special attention when viewing certain programming, moms!
First, on June 8th The Wizard of Dizz premiers at 5pm ET! We received the DVD last week and my girls have been loving it – we took it on a recent road-trip which gave me the opportunity to watch it too! It’s adorable – how can it not be with Goofy as the Scarecrow?? Who else makes an appearance? You’ll have to watch and see!
Parents, watch Disney Junior with the kids weekdays in June between 5-7pm and grab bonus entries to enter to win a Toyota Prius valued at $33,000! Enter to win a Toyota Prius right here and then grab as many bonus entries as you can this month! Someone has to be the winner, why shouldn’t it be your family?!
To help celebrate Fathers Day, Disney Junior is premiering Finding Nemo on Saturday June 15th at 6pm ET (that’s 4pm here in Sask!) I love this movie, and the timing is perfect since of course Disney takes a look at the father/son dynamic in this movie. While the kids I’m sure are celebrating Nemo’s adventures when watching, I know many parents are feeling for Marlin, Nemo’s distraught dad in the movie!
We loved this movie and got to experience it in an amazing way when we visited Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in December! Here is my post highlighting my review of the Art of Animation Resort including our love of the Big Blue Blue – completely Nemo themed and the toddler play area called Righteous Reef! I can’t wait for the kids to watch Finding Nemo again next weekend and point out all the things we saw at Art of Animation since they haven’t watched it since our visit!
In anticipation of this movie debut, you can play Finding Nemo games right on the Disney Junior site too.
Happy June everyone – school is almost out, the sun is sometimes coming out, and pool parties are in our future! Just keep swimming, just keep swimming… 😉
