Can I Get a WotWot?

Now that I’ve got one of my favorite Jay Z songs stuck in your head as an earworm, let me introduce you to the kooky world of the WotWots!  If your kids watch Treehouse, you may already be familiar with these strange space creatures.  Both my girls have watched WotWots in our household, and whenever it’s on this mom does a head scratch wondering what the deal is.  WotWots are characters that fit into that category of “strange children’s characters that kids gravitate to,” and here’s more info on them to help understand why.

While some parents prefer animated characters that are more mainstream (think: covering the shelves of the local toy store), my middle child especially has always gravitated to characters that looked a little different but had her intensely interested.  WotWots certainly fit into that category!

Now, Canadians can have more WotWots fun because there are two DVD’s currently available (SRP $14.99) featuring WotWots: Stripe a Lotty Wotty and Spot a DottyWot.  Each DVD includes 7 episodes, each 11-minutes long featuring the delightful alien duo as they nurture and stimulate the joys of learning, participation, and discovery through their gentle and fun adventures.
