Colin Cowie, lifestyle expert and party planner for celebrities like Oprah and Kim Kardashian has shared some of his tips and tricks to help create a holiday party that will stand out from the rest! In Colin’s holiday style videos, he shares popular holiday color trends, organizational tips along with easy ways to keep the home tidy and party ready for those impromptu get-togethers.
In addition to glamorous décor and delicious food items, Colin relies on trusted P&G products Febreze, Swiffer, Mr. Clean, Dawn and Cascade to ensure that his event spaces are clean and ready to impress. After watching this video below, I’ve decided I need 1) more candles and, 2) way more decorations on my tree…it looks naked compared to the fabulous one in the video!

It’s true, once you have a plug-in scent for awhile you stop noticing it – has it weakened or are you just used to the scent. Febreze NOTICEables do get noticed. I’m glad I finally tried the product!

I dread it every year. Wish we could pull together a beautiful tree, coordinating accessories, spotless room. In reality, we have 14 people crammed into one room, with blanket forts, torn paper everywhere, dogs alert for spilled food, and children bickering. The cooking part I like, though, and the weeks leading up to it.
I host most of our holiday dinners/parties so I don’t mind having the family and friends here. As long as I am organized it is not a big deal. I have a lot of help from my daughters too. Couldn’t do it without them,

I wish this year we would have been able to have our new home ready. Instead we have no tree or decorations. Next year I think we will be doing alot of entertaining including large occasions like Thanksgiving and friends over for drinks before Christmas and even New Years. It takes alot of work and money not to mention planning though.

My idea for entertaining is the casual, drop in system. The kids (6 and 1) decorate the tree and it doesn”t look the least bit perfect. I have yummy food and baked treats on hand. I love having people stop by and find if I don”t worry about every bit of dust and coordinating the napkins to the drapes, then it is actually quite fun.

I’m not a huge fan of holiday entertaining, I much prefer to visit family and friends at their home, less stressful for me as I tend to be a perfectionist and always my worry my house won’t be clean enough, big enough…etc.
