Inspired my Pinterest, I decided to decorate my very own pumpkins this year! While my kids enjoyed the gooey insides of a pumpkin doing a traditional carving, I decided to paint mine!
Step 1: Spray paint pumpkin to get a nice bright base, I picked yellow.
Step 2 : Prop the pumpkin on a stand to speed drying and avoid a pool of paint along the bottom. I used an old bowl.
Step 3: Using acrylic paints (I found mine at Dollerama), drip the paints along the stem and top of the pumpkin. I tried some glitter paint as well but it was far too thick and didn’t drip as well, so next time I’ll stick to the basics!
Nice! I think you could even just leave them orange and then go with the other drip colours!! Good idea!
