I was recently interviewed for an article on mommy blogging and how mom bloggers influence food choices in Canada – for The Western Producer. It’s a well-known publication in western Canada, focused on the agricultural industry. I remember my dad always reading it, so it’s really cool to me to be featured in something he would read!
Recently, an article was posted about social media – how more and more producers are finding themselves on Facebook and Twitter and navigating a new world when it comes to having a voice with their customers and even competitors.
Taking it once step further, The Western Producer wondered what influence mommy bloggers had on food choices made by Canadian parents. Citing my involvement with the McDonald’s All-Access Moms program, the reporter asked myself (and fellow McD program mom Maureen Dennis) our thoughts on social media, blogging, responsibility and influence.
I’m always nervous when I’m interviewed for an article. Did I put my foot in my mouth? Did something I say get taken out of context? Thank you to The Western Producer and Mr. Arnason for a great and insightful article on what I do for a living.
You can find it at the top of my page linked under “Media Kit” but here’s a quickie link because I like you: Blogging Moms
What do you think?
Great job. I didn’t read any foot in mouth quotes. 🙂
Thanks Chris, maybe I’m just famous for them in person? Good thing I don’t do on camera interviews often. 😛
