My (almost) 8 year old left me this note yesterday, on the fridge with a magnet. You see, he was ticked off at me for taking away his computer time for the day because he broke one of his sister’s new toys. He was doing so well until the P.S.

Its even more “funny” when they sit at the kitchen table and ask you how to spell the mean words that they are composing in a letter to you “Mom, how do you spell hate?”.

My parents kept one that my brother (now mid-forties) wrote (background…parents had left for work, brother and I were fighting, I knocked brother and an entire table full of plants through the living room wall…then our ride showed up und we had to leave it like that): “Sorry about the mess on the floor and the hole in the wall. I’ll clean up the plants when I get home.”
So, yeah, save it – it’s been a family joke for 35 years.
