Have your little girls seen the commercials on TV for this doll? My daughter (4) has seen it, and stops in her tracks every single time, then bellows out, “I want that!!”

Wasn’t I the best mommy ever when I showed her the Moxie Girlz™ Magic Swim Mermaid™ we received for review.
The premise is that the Moxie Girlz are imagining themselves as mermaids (there’s got to be some way around that sticky problem of the Moxie Girlz being, well, human.)
There’s no on-off switch, but once you pop in 2AA batteries (included) and place her in water, her tail starts moving! Even though she saw the commercials, Nevaeh was surprised when this happened and giggled. The doll provides fun for bath time because she can even “swim” on her own. Nevaeh wanted to take it out of the bath for play time later, but you have to ensure she’s really dry before doing that because of the moving parts where water loves to hide.
I thought this was a cute doll, especially if your little one is new to the Bratz line of dolls because some of them look quite grown up for the youngest of girls to play with. This toy is for ages 3+ so I think it’s perfect for little ones who may have seen the Bratz commercials, or admired her older sister’s toys.
Though, there’s no guarantees there won’t be a fight about it if there’s more than one Bratz fan in the house. At a suggested retail price of $24.99 ($29.99 at Toys R Us here in Canada), getting 2 may be a possibility to avoid a Bratz throw down. 😉
