I was at my friend’s house a few months ago, snow still covering the ground, and couldn’t help but admire her gorgeous green grass.
It just happened to be on her counter top!
She had this gorgeous BOON Grass beside her sink, and I couldn’t help but think my own drying rack I was currently using was quite inferior in comparison. And ugly.
Off to the BOON website I went, and was happy to discover that not only did BOON have Grass (dimensions: 9.5″ x 9.5″ x 2.5″), they also had a full Lawn now (dimensions: 13.5″ x 11″ x 2.5″), a bigger version for parents with a lot of items to dry!
Because BOON is awesome, I was sent both a Grass and a Lawn to review and the Lawn is what has found a permanent home on my counter.
The Grass will be useful once we’re done with bottles and soothers but for now I need all the real estate I can get!
As you can see it took me no time at all to make my BOON Lawn pretty (I could use a pink flamingo somewhere in there!)
I love how the flexible plastic blades of grass hold everything I need and allows any excess water to collect on the bottom.
It’s really a perfect solution for drying all kinds of items and also looks great on my counter top. Low maintenance too. 😉
Fans of BOON can find both the Grass and Lawn where they buy other BOON products (Toys R Us in Canada carries a wide range of BOON products), and you can also find it online at baby boutiques (I just did a quick search and found it at several online stores!)
Price ranges from a MSRP of $17.99 for the Grass to $29.99 for the Lawn.
I love this product and would recommend it to any of my mommy friends (this means you!)
1 of my Canadian readers is going to win a BOON Grass and 1 and going to win a BOON Lawn!

Oooh pretty! I have a double sink so I wash in the first & just toss stuff into the second to dry. Would LOVE to try out this BOON Grass & liven up my countertop! Thanks!
I have a tea towel on the counter beside the sink that I put everything on to dry after I wash it. My husband thinks it looks cluttered and is an eyesore – so he would be forever grateful to have the grass or lawn replace the tea towel. 🙂
I’ve been wanting this for a while. I saw it after I purchased an ugly one. Would love to have that on my counter.
looks awesome, could come in handy for may things to dry!
Definitely the good ol’ dishtowel on the counter. 🙂
A clean towel every time!
into the drying rack – but small stuff always goes missing!
for my stepdaughter who is soon to find out what she’ll do
I would use paper towels on the counter when I would sterilize my granddaughters bottles etc.

My daughter could so use this. She lets the bottles dry in the dish drainer. This grass is such a cool idea. Love it!
I have a drying mat but it stinks after awhile
throw everything in together. stuff falling through the cracks into the drain rack. what a mess. this would come in really handy and it’s stylish!
I don’t have baby bottles to think about, but at the wildlife rehab we did, and we always just used a regular rack. It was a mess!
I just use a regular dish drying rack off to the side of the sink
we have a bottle rack that is just awful. It doesnt hold all her bottles and other things like medication spoons or pacifiers just dont work well with it. This would be a great to have!

The old standby of dishtowel on counter!
I use glass bottles and made my hubby buy the dishwasher with the sterilze functiion. But I have a friend with a little one on the way so this looks great!
Old school. Dishtowel on the counter top.
I use the tub we used to bathe my preemies in at the hospital, with a dish towel on the bottom.
Currently I use a regular drying rack that I bought at the department store. This grass lawn is so bright and fun, much prettier than my plain white rack.
I have a double sink; my sister uses a t-towel to put washed items on.
