I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the release of Lady and the Tramp for the first time ever on Blu-ray than with an aptly themed pasta party with the kids! We’ve seen the commercials on tv celebrating the release from the Disney vault and Nevaeh (4) especially was so excited when we received our own copy in the mail a few weeks ago.
It’s such a classic story isn’t it? Lady, the pampered pedigreed cocker spaniel and Tramp, the street-wise pup with an eye for adventure and a little trouble. We all can remember the classic spaghetti date scene that’s been replayed in popular culture ever since the movie’s original release in 1955!
We had a Lady and the Tramp themed pasta party the weekend before Valentine’s Day and then watched the Blu-ray as a family. What a cute way to tie in a meal with our movie night (I was I could say it was my idea but it was the PR team behind the DVD release that suggested it!) In any case, you can pick up Lady and the Tramp Diamond Edition which includes the DVD, Blu-ray and a digital copy in stores right now and host your own pasta party too because you’re an awesome mom like that. 😉
