Juicy Fruits Desserts

Juicy Fruit Desserts gum is now available on Canadian store shelves in three mouth-watering flavours – Strawberry Shortcake, Orange Crème Pop and Apple Pie. The gum tastes just like your favourite dessert! Take Strawberry Shortcake as an example, all from one stick of gum Canadians can experience the array of flavours from the crust, to the sweet fruit filling, to the whipped cream topping. Whether you are a fan of cake, frozen treats or pie, Canadians now have the chance to choose from an exciting selection of this delicious-tasting gum.

Our family has been enjoying Juicy Fruits Gum for just over a month now, though I have been the last person to be able to enjoy them due to my wisdom teeth surgery!  So, picture this, I have an incredibly sore mouth and am unable to chew gum but my husband and kids both rave about it and I can smell how delicious it is even in the packs!

Experts debate on what the best strategy is for losing weight or resisting cravings.  My approach has always been to have just a little of what you’re craving instead of denying yourself.  I find that if I swear off my favorite foods it’s sometimes all I can think about (just ask me how many times I’ve asked my husband to pick up Ketchup Chips!!)

If you have a sweet tooth, definitely pick up a pack of Juicy Fruit Desserts gum the next time you’re out and see if having a stick of gum can help curb that craving.  Or, if you’re like me, just try it because it’s delicious and it makes you happy in the middle of a loooong afternoon. 😉

New Juicy Fruit Desserts gum is available at retailers across the country for a suggested retail price of $1.69 (single, 15-piece pack) and $3.99 (multipack with three, 15-piece packs).

  • This is kind of a long shot to ask here as it’s been a year – but how long was it until the pain went away with your wisdom teeth? I see that you had them done in Jan 2012. I can’t really find any anecdotes about it from people like me ( women in their 30’s). I’m on day 11 right now and it still hurts like a mofo. I actually found your site by searching for clove oil remedies and have been using that but I just want to hear from someone else on when it started to feel better. Also, when do those craterous holes close up?!

    Thanks for any insight 🙂

    • Hi Michelle! I feel for you! I think it was about 9-10 days before the pain started to settle down with the first 3-4 days being the worst. I went to my local dentist 2x to check to see if something was “wrong” because the pain seemed to be more than what I had read or was expecting. Everything was fine, it’s just the luck some of us seem to have. Did you try the cloves? It helped me when hard-core meds didn’t do much (I was on enough to knock out a horse!) I can’t remember when the “craters” (LOL) closed up but they do.

I had facial numbness for months afterwards, that was my biggest reaction. Still, a year later, I have a very slight amount of numbness on my chin, like 5% I’d say.

      Hope you’re feeling better soon!

      • Thanks for responding! Like childbirth, I think a lot of us forget bad pain when it’s passed. So hopefully one day this’ll be a distant memory. The cloves are helping and am still taking tylenol and advil fairly regularly. It’s just everything I read made me think it’d be a week tops but of course, people saying that were just kids when they had their teeth out.

I didn’t have any numbness. Hope it clears up for you!

        • Yeah, kind of regretting not getting my wisdom teeth out when it was first suggested when I was in high school! The older you are the harder it is to handle…let’s (sadly) use that as the explanation!
