TinkerBell Fridays on Disney Junior

As a Disney Junior Mom I get a heads up on all sorts of great info to share with my online community, and when I heard about this promotion, I knew it was going to be a big hit!

All through the month of November on Disney Junior, they will be celebrating TinkerBell with TinkberBell Fridays!  Each Friday Disney Junior will air a different TinkerBell movie!  I just heard about this at the beginning of the week and thought maybe that’s why we caught the first TinkerBell movie this weekend on DisneyJunior (maybe they repeat on the weekends?)

In any case, Nevaeh was so excited to see a TinkerBell movie by surprise this weekend, and even her older brother (7) sat and watched it with us.  At 4, she is a huge TinkerBell fan and has been for quite some time.  I just purchased a fairy dress to bring with us to Disneyland next month when she hopefully sees TinkerBell and her fairy friends (how excited are we??!)

TinkerBell holds a special place in my heart too – I dressed up as TinkerBell in Kindergarten and it’s the first Halloween that I remember!

TinkerBell is all about a world of imagination which of course is perfect for little ones because that’s the world they love to experiment in and play in the most.  How do you ignite your little one’s imagination?  For us, it’s currently by role playing with Nevaeh’s little Disney Fairy figurines.  Often I will take the role of one of them and try and keep up to what her role playing brings about (which is sporadic for a 4 year old!) but what I love most is casually sitting back and watching her use her fairies to interact with each other.  It’s so sweet to watch her play in her fairy world with them.
