Many of my mommy friends are busy making apple pies, canning crab apples and making jam! Yes that’s right, it’s definitely apple picking and harvesting season. I was just saying to a friend last night (after she told me about her plum jelly and crab apple jelly task earlier that day) that I kind of wished I had an apple tree in my backyard so I could have my own bounty of apples to use. In fact, I got so tempted after hearing everyone talk about making delicious apple pies that I found a recipe on one of my favorite recipe blogs and created my own Mini Hot Apple Pies last week.
