This is a super easy recipe (as all recipes I share are, otherwise you won’t see me making them!) that I got from a friend over 5 years ago. The story goes that it’s a recipe from the chef at a restaurant, a popular entree that you can now have at home. I’ve shared this recipe with a few friends and relatives over the years and it’s always been a hit!
Mix together the parmesan topping the night before, or at least a few hours before, to allow the flavors to really blend. Remember to reserve enough of the mixture for dipping later!
- 5 simple ingredients:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup parmesan cheese (shredded is better than the canister but if that's all you have that's ok)
- 2 garlic cloves
- ¼ tsp worschestire sauce
- 4 chicken breasts
- Mix first four ingredients together. Reserve ¼ of mixture for dipping (the longer it sits in the fridge, the better it tastes, so you can make this sauce the night before).
- Generously cover both sides of chicken breasts with the sauce and place in a baking dish. Cover with foil and place in 350 oven for 1 hour.
Serve with rice or mashed potatoes and use reserved mixture for dipping the chicken into. The sauce also is delicious mixed into the mashed potatoes or rice as well…calories simply don’t matter in this recipe and must be ignored at all costs!
I’m trying this one tonight!
That looks really good…. and simple. I will have to try that. My kids love anything with cheese on it.

Yum – I’m all for letting the calories slide if this is what I’m eating for dinner!
Looks yummy!
Your recipe sounds yummy. I was thinking of making some sort of chicken tonight. Of all meats, we eat chicken most often so I am always looking for new ideas.
Looks yummy!
Now that looks delicious.
That is very coincidental. I was just telling my husband that I am getting tired of chicken b/c that is all we eat. I will have to try this to spice up my chicken Monday, chicken Tuesday, chicken Wednesday etc.
i love using mayo or mustard as a coating/marinade, it gives food so much flavor. great recipe
This looks so so good, but I just can’t bring myself to like the taste of mayo though.
This looks amazing and so easy! Yum, thanks for sharing 🙂

Mmm this sounds good and easy. Love garlic and chicken!
Is this the recipe they show on tv for Hellmans? I thought it looked good but just putting the mayo on there has me a little weary. Was it good?
