Win Kut Jeans From Adorn!

Based in Portland, Oregon, Adorn was created as an alternative to, as they call it, Portland’s mainstream mall culture. Now their online site allows customers from across the US and beyond to Shop Adorn and find great, alternative, edgy pieces that they may not find at the local chain store in the mall. I love the concept.

I was contacted a few months ago to see if I’d like to check out denim from KUT by the Kloth, one of the new featured favorites of Adorn owner Nicole Whitesell (who also happens to be a work at home mom too, hooray!) At the time I was still preggers, so I picked my usual size in jeans after confirming that the sizing in these jeans is consistent and doesn’t run small. KUT by the Kloth denim runs true to size, but unfortunately I do not (heh.) At 8 weeks, I am not back down to my pre-pregnancy weight yet (which this may seem normal to most it’s not to me, 2 weeks was all it took with the other 2…welcome to having a 3rd at 34!) so I have no photos to share of how fabulous these jeans look on just yet (boo.)

What I can tell you is that the KUT from the Kloth Boyfriend Jeans in Simpatico Wash ($68) that I was sent are a heavy-weight denim, though still your typical cotton/spandex blend that most denim has. The spandex gives these jeans just a bit of hip hugging ability giving a feminine touch to the boyfriend style. The distressed look is great and because of the heavy denim, I doubt these jeans will fall apart in the wash like some distressed jeans can (have you noticed that? Jeans that are so thin that they wear easily, and if you have any distressed-look or tears on them, they literally shred themselves after a season of wear!)
