Bubble Jackets by Pink Pepper Pie

Last August I was introduced to Pink Pepper Pie, and Nevaeh received her first Bubble Jacket from this Canadian company based in Calgary, Alberta. Bubble is the term given to the raised circles on the super soft velour fabric used in popular items for babies and children alike. Recently, Bubble Jackets have become extremely popular among kids with some companies charging upwards of $75 for a jacket for a 6 year old (I have several friends who have paid this price!)

The owners of Pink Pepper Pie, Lucille and Karen, wondered if it were possible to design a Bubble Jacket for kids that could be made in Canada yet cost less than competitors. The answer, thankfully for many moms, was yes! With Pink Pepper Pie jackets being 30 to 35 per cent less than competitors, the company was already off to a fantastic start!

The business progressed from there, and Pink Pepper Pie’s clothing line now includes tops, pants, accessories and even clothing and Bubble Jackets for women (so mom can have her own jacket too!) We were recently sent one of the newer styles of Bubble Jackets from Pink Pepper Pie – the Bubble Bomber Jacket!

The Bubble Bomber from Pink Pepper Pie features some of the great colors used in their basic bomber jackets but these ones are jazzed up a bit with additional printed fabrics. I actually like these ones better than the basic Bubble Jackets because they have more personality! Nevaeh was so excited when she discovered that the cuffs have thumb-holes in them just like mom’s yoga jackets do (which I think is really cool!) Nevaeh’s jacket is the grape/love design and we picked a size XS which fits her well at 3.5 years old and will fit well into the fall as well. Size XS fits size 4-5 which I think is accurate. When purchasing clothing from Pink Pepper Pie, refer to the Size Chart on their site!

I’ve been impressed with the quality and design in both the jackets we now own from Pink Pepper Pie and have referred friends with little girls to the site to shop. Currently Pink Pepper Pie clothing can only be purchased directly on the site or through home parties.
