I love when you can score a great deal when buying something you normally purchase anyway. Take cereal for example – at any given time we have at least 6 boxes of cereal in our pantry (the kids and mom and dad each have their favorites here) so it’s something we always have. I of course look for sales and stock up then (always check expiry dates, but most times cereal has a pretty good shelf life) and when brands like General Mills have deals like the one currently on their boxes, it’s even more reason to buy a few extra for the pantry stock.
Head to your local store to pick up a box (or 3) of General Mills specially marked cereals and get a $5 coupon on the box to redeem for ANY brand of ice cream, frozen yogurt or cones at the store. I like that you can buy your favorite – time to splurge on your favorite decadent treat I’d say!
Coupons are valid until August 31, 2011 and from experience these specially marked boxes go quickly so if you see them, grab them while you can and enjoy free ice cream all summer long!
