Leslie Newton, creator of timi & leslie, says her bags are for “the woman in every mom.” I like that. Newton believes that just because you’re a mom it doesn’t mean you can’t be stylish. As we know, our stylish purses and bags quickly get replaced with a diaper bag as the only bag we carry for the first year of mother hood (and many times, beyond) so it’s only natural to want a bag that still looks good. I remember the first diaper bag I was given, as a shower gift, when I was pregnant with my first baby. It had teddy bears all over it. Uh huh. It quickly got returned but even then all I found as a replacement was a bag that matched my stroller and car seat combo (you know me, matchy matchy!)

Given the opportunity to review a bag from timi & leslie, I was smitten with the Felicity Messenger Bag. On site, I loved the flap magnetic closure (without a zipper you can cram as much as you need to into the bag!) and the strap which enables you to wear the bag across your chest, over the shoulder, or even around the handles of a stroller. The shoulder pad is comfy which is a good thing when the bag gets packed full – and it will with all the room inside!

Storage and organizational thought were put into the design of this bag. There’s one large zippered pocket across the back on the outside, then across the back on the inside you also have two mesh pockets for tossing in things quickly (keys, cell, etc.) and various other pockets along the inside.

There’s bottle pockets everywhere – two on the outside of this bag and two more on the inside that are insulated! The matching change pad with a mesh pocket for wipes is a nice addition too (matchy-matchy, right?!)

I love the Messenger Bags, but of course there’s so much more available from this fabulous bag designer!

Stylish Diaper Bags

The Marie Antoinette tote from the Convertible Collection at timi & leslie is my runner-up favorite on the site. It looks like a regular bag and even has bottle pockets and an insulated bottle holder inside as well – you’d never know to see someone carrying it though. It’s also available in silver.

Even this Baby Jane bag from the Convertible Collection has a changing pad, 6 organizational pockets and an insulated bottle tote!
