We have a bug in the house and he’s here to stay.  When I first learned about SnuggleBugzzz, I definitely wanted to check it out for my 3 year old’s bed and thankfully we were given the opportunity to review one!  What are SnuggleBugzzz?

Basically, SnuggleBugzzz are a bumper for children’s beds but also serve as a cozy bedtime companion as well.  The bug comes with a strip of velcro that attaches (irons on) to the bed sheet, and the underside of the bug has a strip as well for easy attachment.  Nevaeh is almost 3.5 and uses a bed rail.  I can’t remember how long my son used his for but I know it was awhile – and thankfully because of this we didn’t have any middle-of-the-night THUMPS waking us up!  Still, as she gets older a bed-rail does look rather babyish, no matter how much of a baby she still is to me.  We decided to try out the SnuggleBugzzz.

When we received it in the mail, Nevaeh gravitated towards it immediately and absolutely adores her little bug.  My husband was away at the time and I didn’t want to attempt a big change like taking down the bedrail and substituting the SnuggleBugzzz without him here, so for a few days Nevaeh carried around her bug like her new best friend.  She also really likes the book that came with our bug – Silly Sweet Snugglebugzzz Dreamzzz.

This is what our SnuggleBugzzz looks like on Nevaeh’s bed, except I can’t say truthfully that it stays there all day – she insists on her bug being off her bed to play with during the day but that’s ok, as long as we can find it at night.  It’s only been on her bed for a few nights now but she has not rolled off – though we have to remind her that the bug stays on his “sticky spot” (velcro) during the night so she doesn’t try and pull him off herself.
