Ahhh, nesting.  The few weeks, or days, before a baby arrives typically results in the pregnant mama bird happily going about her days (and sometimes well into the hours of the next morning) preparing her nest…er…home for the new arrival.  Some of us do it more than others.  I don’t have any funny stories about my nesting before my  other two babies were born, I just know that yes I had the urge to clean and prepare as I’m sure most pregnant women do.  It’s a natural instinct.  So, how happy was I when I was contacted to see if I’d like to check out a variety of products from Green Works?!  Now I could get my clean-on without worrying about any harsh chemicals, especially now at 8 months pregnant!

So, in the past week or so I’ve been using Green Works cleaning products exclusively in our household and have had nothing but positive results.  Green Works All Purpose Cleaner is perfect for cleaning the kitchen counter top, bathroom sink, and wiping down the kitchen table and chairs (yes, when you have kids the chairs need to be wiped down too!)  The only place I didn’t use it was our marble bathroom vanity because marble wasn’t listed as one of the places it could be used on the bottle.

I used Green Works Multi Surface Cleaner mixed with water to mop my kitchen (lino) and living room (hardwood) floors and thought to myself how useful this product will be when I have a little one crawling again – no worries about a chemical residue from the floor ending up on a baby’s hands.  Green Works Cleaning Wipes were really impressive – 99% natural, they work just as well as the oh-so-chemical-filled brand most of us are familiar with.

I was also impressed with Green Works Glass Cleaner when I used it on my mirrors and glass – everything I used had a great fresh smell and I was a  happy preggo mama because my house was clean….for about 2 hours.  Sigh.
