I’ve recently discovered Via Women, a gem on the web that is written by women for women. There are many interesting articles that are geared towards ladies of any age, whether a mom, single or in-between. On Via Women you can read about anything from health and beauty to finance. An article that caught my eye the first time I visited was a how-to on making homemade play dough, Edible Play Dough.
Face it, the weather has been more than cold outside. My children are inside for hours on end, leading to boredom before lunch. So after reading through Via Women I knew that we could handle making Kool-Aid Play Dough by the end of the day. Flour, salt, vegetable oil, water and of course Kool-Aid mix create a fun dough that the kids can actually snack on. I’ll even admit to having tried a taste myself – not bad!
As someone who will be on a mission to lose the baby weight this spring, I was particularly interested in the article about super foods and keeping your arteries healthy, Super Foods. I am trying to remove processed foods from my home and adding healthier foods to my family’s diet. After reading this article I made a mental note to look for these foods the next time we’re out shopping.
Whether you are looking for topics on finances, food or fun, Via Women is a nice place to start for helpful tips. The design makes articles easy to find and read. I especially like that it is geared towards women, making me feel right at home.
