It’s a new year and television and magazines are showcasing new health approaches, new weight loss techniques, and new ways to help you stay healthy in 2011. Have you noticed this, in the past few weeks? As a stay at home mom, I sure have – Dr.Oz, The Doctors, Dr.Phil (are we noticing a trend here, lol) and even Oprah are all on the health bandwagon. If there’s one to be on, it’s not such a bad ride.
In the book The Phytozyme Cure by Michelle Schoffro Cook, the author takes a closer look at phytozyme therapy and how we can all use to better our lives in general and even attack specific diseases and conditions. First, what exactly is phytosome? According to doctormurray.com: Phytosomes are advanced forms of herbal products that are better absorbed, utilized, and as a result produce better results than conventional herbal extracts. Phytosomes are produced via a patented process whereby the individual components of an herbal extract are bound to phosphatidylcholine – an emulsifying compound derived from soy. Phosphatidylcholine is also one of the chief components of the membranes in our cells.
Developed through 2 decades of research, The Phytozyme Cure uncovers the latest scientific findings and gives the reader tons of information on wellness and addressing their own health concern. The section on Addressing Nutritional Deficiencies in Part One is really interesting – the author lists common signs and symptoms of various vitamin and nutrient deficiencies and then lists great food sources where we can gain back the vitamin into our diets.
In Part Two, specific diseases and ailments are looked at in more detail with information on how Phytozyme Therapy can help reverse or lessen the symptoms of each. For example, when looking at Allergies I learned that I should look for foods that contain anthrocyanin, curcumin, hesperetin and quercetin (don’t worry, there’s a helpful chart too explaining what foods contain them).
Overall, the benefits of Phytozyme Therapy are worth taking a closer look at. Benefits listed in the book include:
Faster healing
Improved energy
Greater mental clarity
Increased resistance to illness
Enhanced immune functioning
Accelerated weight loss
A more youthful appearance
