This weekend, at Shoppers Drug Mart stores (Canada), they’re having one of their awesome, huge, omg-I-wait-for-this bonus redemption events! Shoppers Optimum is the best program I’ve come across for collecting and redeeming points – mainly because of their bonus points days and bonus redemption days.
This weekend, your usual points are worth even more in free items. I have 95,000 on my card which means that instead of redeeming for $170 in items, this weekend I can get $80 more and redeem for $250 worth of products FOR FREE!
Hubby is working nights but offered to get up (and probably ‘supervise’ the kids while snoozing on the couch) while I head out all by myself to shop like a maniac on Saturday morning. What does one buy for $250 in free products? Anything she wants! LOL Seriously though, I’m going to get some boxes of diapers for baby (1 box each of size 1 and 2), some chips and pop for the holidays, Eclipse on Blu-ray (woohoo!), detergent, and of course some treats for me like make-up and hair products.
