ShooShoos

Nevaeh has worn ShooShoos for almost 2 years now (I did my first ShooShoos review back in January 2009). With sizes ranging from 0-24 months in their soft soled leather baby shoes and US5 – US8 in their smiley light flexi rubber soles, children can wear ShooShoos brand shoes from birth up to about age 3.

When I learned ShooShoos now has winter boots, I was eager to check them out. Nevaeh needed a pair of light weight boots to wear for errands and activities (non-snowbank-play) and these are perfect for that. I ordered a size 8, which is her usual size, and they fit perfect.

An interesting thing to note about the sizing – on the website when listing the sizes for smiley light flexi rubber soles they also list an age range. In my opinion the age range is off. Nevaeh is in 8 in most shoes now but the site has that size correlating to 24-28 months. Most 3 year olds I know are in the US 7-8 size range, so when in doubt go with the US size your child is in other shoes and disregard the age range on the site.

Nevaeh is able to slip on her Brown Smiley Winter Boots with ease and do them up all by herself (less struggles for mom when I don’t have to listen to “But I DO IT!!”) These boots are lined with fleece at the collar but not totally inside, which makes them great for winter wear when shopping or taking her brother to school but of course not long winter activities. If you’re looking for a boot that’s not bulky or clunky for the winter, ShooShoos Boots are worth checking out.

With such a wide size-range in shoes, ShooShoos make a great gift for any child up to age 3. They often have sales, and currently are running a Clearance Sale on some styles on the website.
