Bootheel Trading Co. by Sheryl Crow captures American vintage rock ‘n roll chic and classic style. I’ve had the privilege of reviewing Bootheel Trading Co. on Feisty Frugal & Fabulous a few times in the past year (see Bootheel Trading Co. reviews here, here and here!) While denim is the real star of this clothing collection, this season I got to check out two styles of shirts (since regular jeans and I don’t exactly get along at this point in my pregnancy).
The Ruffle Edge Cardigan ($42.00) from Bootheel Trading Co. is gorgeous! The cascading ruffles bring a delicate feminine touch to this fall staple item. Love that you can add this to a t-shirt and jeans to dress up your look, or wear it as a cardigan with a holiday dress. The color shown above is beet-red but it’s also available in black and castle rock. One really great feature of this cardigan is that it gathers in the back for a nice clean look – rather than just hanging off your frame.
Another great, versatile, piece from Bootheel Trading Co. this season is the Cross-Over Sweater ($59.00). Available in black or mel grey, this sweater has great detail as well like the pintucks on the chest (on the link here you can zoom in to see the detail). You can wear this sweater open like in the photo above or you can cross it over at the front and secure it on the inside. There’s a row of buttons on the side seam and corresponding tiny loops at the bottom of the sweater on the opposite side, to secure. Love the attention to detail with this sweater!
I can’t write a post about Bootheel Trading Co. without featuring their jeans, even if I didn’t review them this time (*cry*). The Missouri Flare Mid Rise Jeans ($66.00) above are the ones I have my eye on. Love the flare and distressed look of this style!
