Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue

New on DVD September 21st, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue follows everyone’s favorite fairy Tinker Bell as she meets her very first human friend (this happens long before she meets Wendy and the Lost Boys).

We were sent Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue – 2-Disc BD Combo Pack and Nevaeh and I settled in to watch it the same afternoon we received it (I didn’t have much of a choice, Nevaeh was so excited to see it as soon as I opened the package!)  In the movie, Tinker Bell meets Lizzy, a lonely little girl who believes in fairies with all her heart, despite her father’s annoyance.

Tinker Bell accidently gets captured by Lizzy, trapped inside a fairy house Lizzy built and left in the meadow.  Although not a true prisoner when she is discovered, Tinker Bell and Lizzy spend time together because the rain outside prevents Tinker Bell from leaving.  Through careful and tender moments, the two friends learn to understand eachother (remember, to all humans Tinker Bell’s voice sounds like a little bell) and they each learn more about the other’s world.

While Tinker Bell is with Lizzy, the rest of the fairies devise a plan to rescue her, thinking she is a prisoner with the humans.  Through a series of mishaps and a big adventure, the fairies are reunited and together they find a way to bring Lizzy closer to her father, making him unmistakingly believe in fairies too!

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue – 2-Disc Blu-Ray DVD Combo Pack is available in stores and online September 21st!
