I love the smell of a clean house! The thing is, what I don’t love is the smell left behind by some cleaners that is anything but fresh and clean. You know the smell – it hurts your nose and gives people a headache. I certainly don’t want people to have that reaction when walking into my just-cleaned house!
When I had the opportunity to review iQ Cleaners by Planet People (a Canadian company, horray!) I was intrigued by 2 things – 1 the variety of fresh new scents to clean with and 2 the interesting packaging idea.
The scents! Oh you’re going to love these! iQ products are available as an All-Purpose Cleaner (Green Tea), Bathroom Cleaner (Nectarine Plum), Glass Cleaner (Bamboo Berry and Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner (Papaya Mango). Sounds great right?
Now, let’s look at their unique bottle design. iQ cleaners work on the idea that there’s little benefit to using an eco-friendly product with a bottle that is a one-time use product.
So, they have made a refillable bottle without the huge expense of big liquid refills. How? These cute little refill cartridges are all you need to have a full bottle of your favorite iQ Cleaner.
Just fill your empty iQ bottle with water up to the fill line indicted, drop in a cartridge, then screw on the cap at which point you’ll hear a click and the refill cleaner will start to disperse in the water. Easy!
My favorite of the 4 cleaners is probably the iQ Bathroom Cleaner based on scent alone! The nectarine plum scent makes the whole bathroom smell great afterwards! I noted that it can not be used on marble so I had to be sure to avoid it on our vanity but otherwise it’s great for the shower, tub, and fixtures.
When I checked out the Where to Buy link on the iQ Cleaners website, I was happy to see a store in my own city that sells their products (Nutters). Hopefully as word spreads about iQ Cleaners, more businesses will bring in their products!
