You know what I like about Maggie’s Organics? Back in 1992 when the rest of the world was immersed in plaid and…eek…vests…Maggie’s Organics was already setting the scene for organic clothing. Long before it was preferred (and now fashionable) to wear organic clothing, there they were. With fall just around the corner (hey, I’m just the messenger!) I was looking for something for the cooler weather ahead and picked 2 great pieces from Maggie’s Organics to review.
The Fair Labor Certified Hoodie from Maggie’s Organics is a new product and available in 3 colors.
Made with 100% Certified Organic Cotton, this hoodie is soft and lightweight and hangs nicely. I’m tall(ish) and with a long torso, so I appreciated that this hoodie has super long sleeves and a longer length.
The Fair Labor Certified Hoodie is great paired with yoga pants or jeans.
I paired my hoodie up with Fair Labor Pants from Maggie’s Organics (available in the same 3 colors as the Hoodie).
Made with 90% Certified Organic Cotton and 10% Spandex, these pants are not as slim fitting as my yoga pants, but offer a nice comfortable fit with a little bit of hugging on the hips.
This outfit together is perfect for all those things we love about fall – watching a game of touch-football outside, running the kids to school and activities, or simply being comfy and cozy with a great book while the wind blows outside.
Sizing is consistent (there’s a great size chart on the site as well, if you’re unsure). I went with a medium pant and large top, just because I like my hoodies a little loose and this way I could layer as well.
