Later at the end of August when Elijah starts 1st grade (in Canada kids typically go back to school in the last days of August or after the long weekend in September), he’s going to look very cool in his new Eleven Collection Nolan shoes.
Have you noticed how you project your favorite colors onto your kid’s clothes? Elijah has a ton of brown and tan clothes (as do I!) so these shoes match so well. They’re also great with denim (and a nice tan shirt, heh.)
Made with premium leather uppers and an easy adjustable velcro strap, these shoes fit as great as they look. There’s no wear-in period with these shoes (I hated that so much as a kid!) so Elijah can wear them for a full day the first day without worry.
Admittedly, I have only let him wear these shoes inside this summer because we are saving them for school, but I know once the time is here these will be an easy favorite (the velcro also makes them easy to slip off…no slowing down this 6 year old!) The first time Elijah put these shoes on he said, “I like these shoes, they feel good on my feet!”
When my kids were both infants, there were several choices for shoes in store and online. It seems the bigger they get, the more the selection has narrowed, especially for online shopping, when looking for good quality children’s shoes. I am really happy that Eleven Collection shoes start at size 9 for preschoolers and goes all the way up to size 3 for elementary age kids. Since Elijah is just in a size 13 this year, we will be able to enjoy Eleven Collection for a few more years yet (and pretty soon it will be Nevaeh’s turn!)
