True story – I have had a mad craving for pie lately. There’s something about the summer that makes you crave a delicious fruit pie with a crumbly buttery crust. I was at the grocery store a few days ago when the craving hit again so off to the bakery I went. And then I promptly turned on my heel and left! $5.99 for a pie is not wise spending (though it sure did look good!)
If only the store had the new Banquet Fruit Pies (available in the US at stores like Walmart, Target, and more). For just $1 you can purchase a single serve fruit pie in either apple, peach, or cherry berry (yum!).
From August 26-28, before the Labor Day holiday, 650 select Wal-Marts nationwide (US) are offering in-store demonstrations with free samples of the pies topped with Reddi-wip! To see if your local store is participating, check with the store manager.
