Is your family more “bursting with energy” than “boring business”? Are you looking for a gift for dad that is all about fun, something the family can enjoy together? I’ve got 2 fun ideas to share, that both made us crack up in our household (laughter is always a good thing!) The first is the RC Cooler from Interactive Toy. What a great combination of a guy’s two favorite things – a nice cold beer and a remote control toy. The RC Cooler is inflatable (which makes it great for storing with your camping gear or in the trunk to take out to a barbeque) and can hold a nice selection of beverages for the entire family. My kids got a kick out of using the remote control and kept offering to “bring” dad a coke on our patio this weekend. This is sure to be a hit among kids and adults and hey, if dad doesn’t have to get up to get a bevvie and the kids can use a remote control to have fun bringing one over, everyone is happy. 😉
The second item we received from Interactive Toy Concepts has caused both my 6 year old son and 33 year old husband to run around our yard laughing like madmen. Duck Hunter Extreme is a 2-player game that can be played indoors but I prefer it outdoors for the chaos it causes! One player uses a remote control to maneuver the flying duck while the other player uses the gun with infrared light to shoot down the duck.
This game takes a lot of practice, playing both parts, to really get the hang of. Admittedly playing it with a 6 year old is a little nerve-wracking to begin with, but the boys still have been having a lot of fun with it, andI know my husband will be showing it to his brother the next time he stops by.
