I didn’t realize there was such a need for fashionable reading glasses, including sunglasses, until my sister informed me of her fashion faux pas. She wears reading glasses from time to time and when on vacay at the beach or even hanging out in the sun in her backyard, she had a problem. Because she needed her reading glasses on to read a magazine, but also needed to block out the glare from the sun, my sister would er…double up. Yes, this delightful creature would wear her regular sunglasses on top of her reading glasses (and likely end up reading alone as I can‘t imagine her 16 year old daughter wanting to be anywhere near that ensemble!)
This is where Reading Glasses Shopper comes in! Not only do they have a great selection of reading glasses for every day wear, but also sunglasses so that no one else has to balance one pair of glasses ontop of another like my sister. When I told her that Reading Glasses Shopper offered to send her a pair to review for me, she was game.
We were sent the Andrea Sun Reader to check out. The glasses look just like regular sunglasses, so no one would even know they’re reading glasses. Providing UV400 protection, these glasses are as safe for your eyes as they are stylish. Aside from the great look of the glasses, my sister also liked that they were lightweight and comfortable to wear. The only downside, she said, was that they didn’t come with their own carrying case (but she said they’re easy enough to purchase separately in a variety of stores if needed).
Of course, the most important feature and benefit of these glasses is that my sister no longer looks like a geriatric with two pairs of glasses on her head while on vacation on the beach. For that, her daughter will thank me.
