New Sassy Bath toys make a splash! They have been designed with the help of child development experts to fit baby’s developing sensory perception, motor skills and creativity. Just like the developmental toy line, Sassy bath toys are designed to fit every age and stage as baby grows and develops. Child development experts agree that certain elements are critical for an effective developmental toy.

We were sent 3 items from the new line at Sassy, and two of them were perfect for bath time in our household. Count ‘n Spell Appliques (in rainbow or pink) are awesome for combining bath time fun with learning. Young children can learn the alphabet while playing with the foam letters, and older kids can spell basic words by sticking the appliques to the side of the bath tub with just a bit of water. For ages 3 years and up but my 2 year old happens to love them too!
The second item we were sent for the bathtub is Sassy’s Scrub a Dub Car Wash. For ages 9 months and up, this is an item I’d have loved to have earlier, though both my kids still enjoy it at ages 2 and 5. Of course, following Sassy’s attention to learning details, the car wash offers plenty of opportunities to develop hand/eye coordination, object permanence and cause and effect.
After bath time when it’s time for snacks before bed, the Perfect Sized Snack Pods are just that. They are perfect for adding in just enough snacks for a toddler and in an easy-to-hold container. The lids are easy for little hands to open and close, and tiny hands easily fit through the openings to grab yummy snacks.
