When is the last time you spent money on you, mom? I don’t mean that oh-my-God-I-need-caffeine-now cappuccino or latte (because realistically I call this an essential because it keeps mama happy which keeps everyone else happy). No, when I’m talking about spending money on yourself I mean the big bucks. It’s so typical isn’t it? As moms we spend $300 on a sport for our child (or Arts…let’s not forget about the Arts!) without much thought, but if we had the opportunity to spend $300 on something we really enjoyed, a hobby or passion, we’d have to think long and hard about it and would probably feel a bit guilty doing so.
