Nesting Trio from Kids Konserve

School starts here again January 3rd and I know I’m not the only mommy that will be happy to usher their child out the door that day and breathe a collective sigh of relief. While it’s wonderful having the kids out of the house, the routine begins once again. What to pack for lunch? I need some new ideas already and it’s only halfway through the year! I’ve already been surprised by my son’s recycling at school. He came home with a plastic spoon once that I sent with his pudding and explained he wasn’t supposed to throw it away at school.

Whoops, bad mommy moment? I still send plastic spoons but I do try and do my eco-mommy part when I can (it’s all about the little things we do right?)

The Nesting Trio from Kids Konserve is one way I can do my part to be more eco-friendly and reduce the amount of plastic baggies we use with my son’s lunch. My kids were all over these containers when we got them, which I wasn’t surprised about – they’re colorful and the nest nicely, so the kids enjoyed stacking them and taking the lids on and off (why did I spend money on all those toys for Christmas?)

The containers are made with stainless steel, though the lids are plastic. They secure really well, so I wouldn’t have concerns putting liquid in them (just concerns about the 5 year old opening it at school, gah!) You can find the Nesting Trio at Kids Konserve online for $26.
