Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie

It’s funny how parenthood changes your viewing habits. Before I had children I wasn’t aware of 99% of the children’s programming out there and now I can have a lengthly conversation with other mommy friends about various children’s television shows. While I’m still watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, friends of mine who have children that are tweens and teens are actually watching many Disney shows with their kids. Several of my friends, when I asked about Wizards of Waverly Place, have said, “It’s a good show, I actually watch it with them when I have the time,” which says a lot.

In Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie, Alex (Selena Gomez) accidentally casts a spell that threatens her family’s existence while on vacation! Max (Jake T. Austin) tries to keep his parents together while Alex and Justin (David Henrie) use every trick they know as they search for the “Stone of Dreams” to reverse the spell and save their family.
