You just know a company is all about having fun and being a good person when their About Us page doesn’t feature a write up about the career paths of the creators and designers and how fabulous they are, but rather photos of the pets of the employees along with their bios. Pets are allowed at work at Namaste and the work they do is fantastic so I say keep doing what you’re doing!
If you or someone you know has picked up on the trendy hobby of knitting or crocheting (or, if you balk trends and state you have been “doing it for years!”) check out the cool accessories like the Namaste Cozy for storing your knitting and crochet supplies.
I don’t knit (a disaster waiting to happen I’m sure) but I was still able to check out some of the other products from Namaste because they have a fabulous line of PVC-free, animal-friendly faux leather handbags.
I was sent the Laguna bag (like the one featured to the left) to check out, except I picked eggplant as the color.
I like that this bag is marketed to women on the go – whether that means you’re carrying crafting supplies, the basics for work and travel, or items for the kids.
Featuring zippered pockets on the inside as well as outside, and a divided space inside to keep items separate, the bag has plenty of room to carry whatever you need. I liked the option of carrying the bag over the shoulder with the long strap or by hand with the classic designed handles.
Available in 8 colors in beautiful shades, it’s hard to choose a favorite. I liked the eggplant color because the purple tone blends well with other colors in my wardrobe and I think it looks good year round.
There’s plenty of other handbag options on the site and the available photos help in making a decision. The only annoyance I had while shopping online is that the prices aren’t readily displayed – customers have to create an account to be able to see the prices. I’m not sure why they have it laid out that way, but as a customer that is what I’d like to see changed on the site. The Laguna bag, by the way, retails for $79.00.Definitely take a peek at Namaste if you or someone you know has knitting-fever. A gift from this site would be sure to please, especially due to the specific purpose of the accessories.
