If you have a child under age 5, chances are you may have heard about Discovery Toys from another mom. My first introduction to Discovery Toys came when my son was under a year old and we were at a friend’s house who happened to have the Tangiball.
If you’re unfamiliar with this toy, it’s a multi-sensory ball that not only feels really neat in a baby’s hands, but also squeaks and happens to smell like delicious vanilla. My 2 year old’s introduction to Discovery Toys was just this month, when we were sent the Castle Marbleworks set. It took just a few minutes to put together and once my 5 year old and I showed my daughter how to drop the weighed balls in, she was hooked. I don’t know why children love marble sets like this one, or why it has me mesmerized watching the balls roll down but these are always popular toys.
