Sucré (French for sugared) is an emporium of “artisan” sweets. Sucre is a New Orleans based confectioner known for their delectable, hand-crafted artisan chocolates as well as their scrumptious pastries and macaroons. They are located in the heart of the Garden District on Magazine Street (New Orleans) and in addition to their home-made and hand-crafted chocolates and pastries, Sucre offers a variety of gelatos as well as gourmet coffees and even champagne for in-store guests. The actual store location is somewhere I think I could happily eat myself into a chocolate induced coma in. Doesn’t it look like heaven?Sinfully delicious and Oprah approved (Sucre’s Macaroons were featured in O Magazine’s 2009 Mother’s Day Guide), having a holiday treat sent to a loved one from Sucre is easy with their online store.
